WOW! Our 58th year!

We couldn’t let a little thing like a pandemic stand in the way of a 57 (now 58) year tradition. And so the 2020 Frontier Days: The Show Must Go On(line) event, proudly presented by Lykins Energy Solutions, will be treating our community to a fun and creative way to welcome summer! Spend some time outdoors walking the streets of Milford and Miami Township with a Nosh-Fest for Foodies – carnival style … enjoy a “virtual” parade when we re-air the 1995 Frontier Days parade … and finish the week with that Frontier Days tradition, Naked Karate Girls, as they broadcast LIVE on Sunday night!

A Nosh-Fest for Foodies! Mon-Sun, June 1-7, during regular hours at participating restaurants

Local restaurants will be offering crazy takes on carnival food the week of June 1-7. Participating restaurants Midwest Best BBQ and Creamery, 20 Brix, Padrino Italian, By Gollys, Little Miami Brewing Company, The Governor, and Tickled Sweet will offer a special entree and/or drink themed for Frontier Days all week long, from June 1-7. A portion of these specials will benefit Milford-Strong, MMTCC and Feed Our Flock.

Enjoy behind the scenes videos on social media featuring our sponsors and restaurants as our very own BillyRock McCarthy makes his way through the trials of a canceled Frontier Days due to COVID-19 and social distancing.

NOTE: Check hours for participating restaurants to be sure you don’t miss any of these delicious specials 😋

A “virtual” parade! Thursday, June 4, 6-7:45 pm

Not being permitted to host a live parade is bogus and gives us the wiggins, but we can take a trip down memory lane and enjoy an old Frontier Days parade. Our partner ICRC has found a 1995 parade that they were able to translate to digital – so get ready for a blast from the past! So brush up on your 90’s slang and tune in to the ICRC or Frontier Days Facebook page to watch. Booyah!

A Frontier Days fave – Naked Karate Girls broadcasting L-I-V-E! Sunday, June 7, 6-9 pm

The week will end on Sunday, June 7 with a remote LIVE Naked Karate Girls fundraising concert hosted by Allen Walker called DistANCE YOUR HEART OUT, as Allen walks the streets of Milford in his one man parade, doling out gifts in exchange for local trivia answers. 6 – 9 pm LIVE!

Participating restaurants will be showing the concert – get there early to grab a seat! If you can’t get in, find a spot to picnic in Riverside Park to watch on your tablets, laptops, and phones. Or cozy up at home with a date night on your porch.

We can’t wait to DistANCE the night away with you!
